Community sourced Updated regularly For Pakistani professionals

Why this section exists

The questions no official source answers cleanly.

Settling into Saudi Arabia as a Pakistani professional comes with a hundred small questions. Where do I open a bank account that works for transfers to Pakistan? How do I convert my Pakistani driving licence? What happens when my iqama is up for renewal? Which hospital should I register with?

Members of SPPC have answered these questions for one another, again and again, across WhatsApp groups, coffee meetups, and quiet conversations after Friday prayers. This section captures that knowledge in one place, in plain language, updated as things change.

Every article here is a starting point, not legal or financial advice. For anything binding, consult the relevant Saudi authorities or a qualified professional. For everything else, this is what the community has learned.
